Prior to fermenting animal manure, liquid separation is essential to reduce moisture content and facilitate fermentation. Moisture control is critical before animal manure fermentation processes such as organic composting. Maintaining material moisture between 55% and 65% is generally optimal.
Manure dewatering machines enhance agricultural waste management efficiency by separating liquid and solid components from animal manure. This equipment effectively reduces odours, minimises volume, and produces nutrient-rich solid material suitable for composting. Working Principle
Screw-type manure dewatering machines achieve solid-liquid separation through mechanical or physical processes. Upon entering the separator, the material undergoes centrifugal force, filtration, or sedimentation-mechanical or gravitational actions-to segregate solid and liquid components into distinct fractions.
The inclined screen type manure dewatering machine operates by combining gravity with mechanical separation technology. As the solid-liquid mixture passes through the inclined screen, solid particles are retained on the screen surface while liquid permeates through the screen apertures for discharge.
